Construction Superintendent Work Location: Yellowknife, NT Canada

Min 15 years commercial construction experience
Extensive knowledge of concrete forming & steel stud framing
Organizing of tools & equipment for projects
Working with Project Manager & clients to complete projects
Maintain a high level of quality workmanship for projects
Maintain a clean, safe & organized work site
Review of IFC drawing & specs, advise of conflicts, missing scope or errors
Communicate with project team RFI & material submittals
Maintain organized paperwork for provided project binders
Complete approved Change Orders & Site instructions
Ensure subcontractors are executing & complying with scope of work
Identify staff & subcontractors that are non-compliant with health & safety
Identify conflicts in construction process, communicate with PM to resolve
Mentor junior staff with respect for a team environment for a successful project
Perform Superintendent duties on multiple sites pending project size
Ensure GC & subcontractor deficiencies are corrected.
Make productive use of time on site to assist with construction tasks
Attend site meetings, inspections & substantial meetings
Review ands approve time cards and safety submittals
Maintain company vehicle and company tools
Valid drivers licence required & drivers abstract
