The Pre-Press Coordinator position receives digital files from customers and ensures that all files are ready for print. Prepares PDF files for customer approval as well as ensuring artwork is ready for production. Must be at ease with press approval

Responsibilities

Receives digital files from customers and creates a dialogue with customers if more information is needed to proceed to pre-press Prepare artwork and sends proofs/targets for customer approval Prepares files for print and be able to coordinate with printing plate manufacturers Must be able to ensure quality standard is kept Must be able to perform color separation, apply trap and color correction to art files, steps art according to press layout Must be able to communicate with press operators
Qualifications

Must have minimum 3-5 year experience in flexographic printing (or similar) Must be bilingual (French/English) Must be able to work with Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite Must have experience with pre-press, file preparation, proof preparation, print press approvals Experience in food packaging design an asset
