RESPONSABILIT\xc3\x89S DU POSTE

Appuyer le Directeur de succursales

  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer les services fun\xc3\xa9raires, y compris l\xe2\x80\x99arrangement et la livraison des fleurs, du cercueil, de l\xe2\x80\x99urne, des photos ou autres souvenirs des familles clientes, ainsi que l\xe2\x80\x99installation et l\xe2\x80\x99entreposage ad\xc3\xa9quats de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipement.
  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer tout document n\xc3\xa9cessaire aux services, aux cr\xc3\xa9mations, \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99entretien, comme indiqu\xc3\xa9 par la direction
  • Pr\xc3\xa9parer respectueusement la d\xc3\xa9pouille, y compris l\xe2\x80\x99habillage et le d\xc3\xa9placement de la personne d\xc3\xa9c\xc3\xa9d\xc3\xa9e, ou de l\xe2\x80\x99op\xc3\xa9ration du cr\xc3\xa9matorium, comme permis par la loi et en accord avec les r\xc3\xa8glements de l\xe2\x80\x99entreprise.
  • Nettoyer et entretenir tous les v\xc3\xa9hicules de la maison fun\xc3\xa9raire comme requis, de fa\xc3\xa7on ponctuelle.
  • Les responsabilit\xc3\xa9s administratives consistent \xc3\xa0 op\xc3\xa9rer un t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9copieur, un ordinateur, un t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9phone \xc3\xa0 lignes multiples, un syst\xc3\xa8me de paiement par carte de d\xc3\xa9bit, une machine \xc3\xa0 \xc3\xa9crire, une machine \xc3\xa0 affranchir et \xc3\xa0 peser, et faire fonctionner un syst\xc3\xa8me st\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9o/vid\xc3\xa9o de fa\xc3\xa7on ponctuelle.
  • Faire des livraisons de fleurs, la cueillette de fournitures ou autres documents, etc.
  • R\xc3\xa9pondre au t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9phone.
  • Guider les gens, stationner des voitures, faire le transport demand\xc3\xa9.
  • Conduire les v\xc3\xa9hicules de la maison fun\xc3\xa9raire pour les services et aller chercher des familles
  • S\xe2\x80\x99assurer que des rafra\xc3\xaechissements sont offerts (l\xc3\xa0 o\xc3\xb9 permis par la loi)
  • Ex\xc3\xa9cuter toute autre t\xc3\xa2che requise par la direction.
Exigences MINIMALES

Formation
  • \xc3\x89quivalent d\xe2\x80\x99un dipl\xc3\xb4me d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9tudes secondaires et l\xe2\x80\x99obtention d\xe2\x80\x99un dipl\xc3\xb4me d\xe2\x80\x99une \xc3\xa9cole sp\xc3\xa9cialis\xc3\xa9e dans l\xe2\x80\x99industrie fun\xc3\xa9raire ou une exp\xc3\xa9rience \xc3\xa9quivalente
Exp\xc3\xa9rience
  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans l\xe2\x80\x99industrie fun\xc3\xa9raire de pr\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rence.
Connaissances, comp\xc3\xa9tences et aptitudes
  • Une exp\xc3\xa9rience pr\xc3\xa9alable en service \xc3\xa0 la client\xc3\xa8le ou en vente serait un atout majeur

A Funeral Attendant reports to the Location Manager and is responsible for assisting with all funeral home and cremation related duties. Other general duties include meeting the general public, answering questions and providing information on funeral and cremation information and other related topics, answering phones courteously and in a polite manner, assisting on funeral, memorial and other services or ceremonies as requested by funeral home clients and management. Attendance at monthly staff meeting is expected. The Funeral Attendant duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide Support to Location Management
  • Preparation for funeral services including setting up and delivery of flowers, casket, urn, photos and other personal keepsakes or mementos of client families, and setting of chairs and the removal, proper care and storage of any of these items
  • Preparation of any documents related to services, cremations, maintenance, as directed by management
  • Respectful preparation of remains of deceased, including dressing and lifting deceased, or operation of crematory, as permitted by law and in keeping with company regulations
  • Wash and clean all funeral home vehicles and other client vehicles as required from time to time
  • Office duties such as operating fax machine, computer, multiline phone system, debit card machine, typewriter, postage meter and scale and stereo/video system may be required from time to time
  • Run errands such as for floral delivery, picking up of supplies, documents, etc
  • Answer phones
  • Usher people, parking cars, and fulfilling any transportation requirements
  • Drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and picking up families
  • Ensure refreshments are available (where allowed by law)
  • Any other duties as directed by management
EDUCATIONAL/Experience/MINIMUM Requirements

Education:
  • Equivalent to high school education and completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school specializing in funeral service or experience equivalent
Experience:
  • Funeral industry experience would also be a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Previous customer service and/or sales experience would be a definite asset
  • Knowledge of computers and some software would be an asset, or willingness to learn
  • High level of compassion and integrity
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Professional and team player
