*This is a physically demanding role requiring long periods of standing, lifting, and working efficiently under pressure. A minimum of 1 year of dishwasher experience in a fast-paced kitchen is required.

There will be a 1-week paid trial period before full hiring. During the trial week, you will be paid minimum wage for hours worked. Tips will only be included once you are fully hired.*

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking prep worker/dishwasher to join our team! This position is essential to the smooth operation of our kitchen, requiring attention to detail, time management, and a strong work ethic. As a prep worker, you'll assist with ingredient preparation to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently. As a dishwasher, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients. Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper storage. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including sanitizing surfaces and disposing of waste. Monitor dishwashing supplies and restock as needed. Assist cooks and other staff with tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Handle kitchen equipment and tools safely and responsibly. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting hygiene and safety standards. Perform additional cleaning duties as required to maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when needed. Reliability and dependability.

Shift Times

4 PM to 9 PM Opportunities to work beyond 9 PM. Monday to Saturday availability.

Payment

$17.60 per hour. Tips are divided between employees.
