What You'll Do

As a

Prepared Foods Clerk

, you'll be the front line for presenting and replenishing our gourmet ready-to-eat meals made fresh daily by our Commissary Kitchen. You'll keep our shelves stocked, engage with customers about our food, and help keep our store running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring ready-to-eat meals are merchandised and available throughout the day Receiving, storing, and stocking prepared foods using rotation (FIFO) and quality control Engaging with customers to share product knowledge and offer meal suggestions Keeping the department clean, organized, and visually appealing Supporting team members across departments as needed Adhering to store policies, food safety standards, and loss prevention practices

What You Bring

A love for food and an interest in learning more about it Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous experience in food service or grocery is a plus Food Safety Handlers Certification is an asset Comfortable working in coolers/freezers and lifting up to 50 lbs.
