Responsibilities

-looking for a cook to start immediately with Mealtime Now
-The ideal employee is available to work starting at 6am, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for approximately 18 hours a week depending on order demand. There is an opportunity for more hours as the company grows.

- Able to prepare a variety of provided recipes and package them for shipment.
- Follow recipes closely and the portion control guidelines provided
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring
- Assist in stocking and organizing ingredients

-Able to work independently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures
-excellent time management skills and prioritization to complete timely and efficient meal preparation for orders in good time for delivery.

- must have a current food safe certificate.

Qualifications

- Must be a current resident of Saskatoon
- Proir kitchen experience necessary
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Must be fluent in English
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and basic math skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work other mornings during the week as needed
