. The Prep Cook / General Kitchen Assistant supports kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and assisting chefs and cooks with daily tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently, food is prepared on time, and quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:



Wash, peel, chop, slice, and measure ingredients as directed by chefs. Prepare basic menu items (e.g., salads, sauces, dressings, garnishes) according to recipes or instructions. Label, date, and store food items properly to maintain freshness and prevent waste. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, tools, and equipment. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe guidelines). Assist with receiving and storing deliveries; check for quality and accuracy. Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with kitchen policies. Support line cooks during busy service periods by replenishing ingredients or completing quick prep tasks. Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen supervisors or management.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
