Key Responsibilities:

Wash, chop, and prepare vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients for sushi, hot dishes, and garnishes. Portion and arrange ingredients according to recipe and station needs. Assist in preparing sauces, rice, and other base components. Maintain food quality and presentation standards. Keep the work area clean, sanitized, and organized. Operate efficiently during peak periods--deliver speed without compromise. Collaborate with teammates (sushi prep, ramen stations, front-of-house) to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment.

Schedule:

Shifts fall between

8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (occasionally until 8:00 PM)

, depending on flight schedules and operational needs. Full-time or part time position; weekend and holiday availability preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred, especially in fast-casual or high-volume environments. Basic knife skills and knowledge of safe food handling practices. Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen hygiene. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining consistency.

Able to pass and maintain an airport security/background check as required by Transport Canada.

Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Must already be located in Calgary, AB (no relocation assistance provided).
