Position Summary

The Pre-Hang Door Assembler is responsible for assembling pre-hung door units by accurately inspecting slabs, selecting the correct parts, and working closely with the door prep technicians, painters, and Stainer's. This role ensures high-quality assembly according to company specifications and contributes directly to the final product that meets customer and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect door slabs for quality, defects, and compliance with specifications before assembly. Select and gather the correct parts and hardware required for assigned door models. Work with the Door Prep Technician to ensure door frames are properly prepared for assembly. Assemble slabs, frames, and components to create pre-hung doors, ensuring accuracy and alignment. Follow established procedures to support downstream processes, including painting, staining, and finishing. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of tools and materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow. Assist in quality checks before and after assembly to meet production and customer standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
