Job Description

We are fully capable machine shop that performs all aspects of machining and grinding of Helicopter components and hydraulic parts. The grinding position would be for internal and external grinding of parts that have been coated with chrome, carbide and heat treated. Training will be given to suitable candidates showing a willingness to learn and practical knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain grinding machines to grind surfaces of metal objects according to specifications and company standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine grinding requirements
- Set up and adjust grinding machines to achieve desired results
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
- Use hand tools, such as calipers, to measure dimensions of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience in machining or grinding operations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and understanding of machining processes
- Familiarity with hand tools, such as calipers, for precise measurements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$43.00 per hour
