is a Montessori school in Markham. We are currently seeking experienced Montessori teachers. The certified teacher must have experience in working with PreCasa (ages 18months - 3 years), and be prepared to lead the class and work with the supervisor in a supportive team-teaching Montessori environment.

Position Overview:


We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Casa Montessori Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be certified in Montessori education and have a strong understanding of Montessori philosophy. You will guide children aged 18 months - 3 years through a prepared environment that encourages self-directed learning, creativity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead a Montessori Precasa classroom (ages 18 months to 3 years) in accordance with the Montessori Method Create and maintain a prepared learning environment that supports the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of each child Plan and implement daily lessons, activities, and projects based on individual children's needs and interests Observe and assess the progress of each child, keeping detailed records and sharing updates with parents regularly Promote a positive and respectful classroom culture, nurturing each child's curiosity and love of learning Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and families to foster a sense of community Participate in professional development and school events as required

Qualifications:



Montessori Certification for Precasa (ages 18 months to 3 years) from a recognized institution (AMI or MACTE) Experience working with children (ages 18 months to 3 years) in a Montessori classroom Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development principles Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to foster a supportive and collaborative environment CPR and First Aid certification

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
