Pre-Construction Lead

to join our team full-time.

This is not a clerical estimating role.
This is a

leadership-track operations seat

responsible for driving revenue opportunities, shaping strategy, and supporting major municipal, industrial, mining, and transportation clients across Western Canada and the USA.

THE ROLE



As the

Pre-Construction Lead

, you will own the entire front-end of our project lifecycle:

Pursuing opportunities Interpreting technical drawings & specifications Building accurate estimates for structural linings, coatings, and trenchless rehab Managing all tender submissions Working directly with engineers, municipal clients, and industrial operators Supporting internal operations with clean, complete handoff packages
You will work closely with the Director and play a key role in the company's growth into a multi-branch, multi-province operation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



Opportunity & Tender Management



Monitor and pursue RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and direct-award opportunities Manage Pipedrive pipeline and follow-up rhythms Analyze drawings, specs, and project documents to define scope clearly

Estimating



Prepare complete estimates for:

Spray-in-Place Pipe (SIPP) rehabilitation SprayWall structural linings Thermoform PVC liners Abrasive blasting, industrial painting, surface prep, chemical grouting, robotics Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO) and material calculations Build accurate labour, equipment, and material cost models

Pre-Construction Delivery



Prepare tender forms, technical writeups, schedules, safety attachments, and assumptions Issue RFIs to clarify scope Participate in bid/no-bid assessments Support negotiation and value engineering discussions

You should have:

3-10 years in estimating, engineering, procurement, or construction management Experience reading drawings, interpreting specs, and building cost models Strong competency with Excel, construction math, and technical problem-solving Experience in coatings, civil construction, mechanical, or industrial infrastructure is an asset Experience with trenchless technologies, SIPP, or robotics is a major advantage
