We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the dental office workflows. This role is vital in ensuring smooth practice management, staff coordination, and exceptional patient care delivery. The Practice Manager will serve as a key point of contact for staff, patients, and external vendors, fostering an efficient and compliant environment that supports the practice's growth and success.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the dental practice, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow
Supervise administrative staff, including , training, performance evaluations, and ongoing development
Oversee human resources functions such as staff scheduling, conflict resolution, and compliance with employment laws
Maintain and optimize electronic dental records systems like Paradigm to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Monitor practice budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to support fiscal health
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and accreditation standards
Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient care processes
Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
Assist with onboarding new employees and ongoing staff training in areas such as medical terminology and office procedures
Collaborate with vendors and external partners to maintain supplies and equipment
Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to ensure all company expectations are met.
Requirements
Proven experience managing a dental office environment; prior supervisory experience is essential
Proficiency with Paradigm software an asset
Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, including billing, coding, and compliance standards
Familiarity with human resources practices including hiring, training, and employee relations
Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation within a healthcare setting
Knowledge of dental terminology;
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care and administrative excellence
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, vendors, and regulatory agencies
