Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and decisive
Practice Manager
to lead the Stellarton clinic. This is a management role designed for an experienced RVT that can navigate the challenges of a demanding profession while fostering a healthy and positive working environment. The Practice Manager will collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to support business growth, clinical structure, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily leadership and support for all clinical and administrative staff
Make informed, timely, and sometimes difficult operational and personnel decisions
Oversee clinic operations, including scheduling, inventory, billing, compliance, and client service
Promote a positive, collaborative, and respectful workplace culture
Support staff development, performance management, and recruitment efforts
Collaborate with the Regional Manager on business development initiatives and clinical/technical improvements
Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
Support and develop clinical and client growth initiatives by enhancing patient care, strengthening client relationships, and collaborating with the Regional Manager to expand services and community reach.
Qualifications:
Completion of a Veterinary Technology program and successful completion of the VTNE and licensed with provincial licensing boards is a requirement for this position.
Minimum of
5 years of experience in veterinary medicine
Previous management or leadership experience in a veterinary or related healthcare setting is a preferred asset.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex situations confidently.
Excellent time and task management skills.
Familiarity working with the Office365 environment.
