As a Content Editor your key roles and responsibilities will include:
Standardization of documents for online publishing purposes
Editing of manuscript for house style, grammar, and presentation
XML tagging for online presentation
Task-specific research
Manage outside author and contractor relationships and submissions
Identification and electronic linking of product sets and online sources
Quality assurance testing
General editorial support
Document creation for training and editorial guidance purposes
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree preferred
Strong organizational, prioritization skills, and flexibility are required to successfully structure workflow, adjust to changing priorities, and meet departmental and company goals
Strong attention to detail
Excellent collaborative, communication, and initiative skills are necessary to successfully work with all team members and other LexisNexis employees
Ability to quickly learn, retain, and become proficient in new software packages and technical skills
Ability to successfully lead and deliver projects using Lean/Agile approaches to support cross-functional business growth
The position can be either home-based anywhere in Canada or Toronto office-based.
