We\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add a full-time PR Account Coordinator to our team! This role is a contract position with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. The candidate will be an integral member of the PR and marketing department. AH Media is looking for someone who is goal-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, ambitious and shows a passion for the hospitality & travel industry. This position will require development, implementation and management of all aspects of our clients\xe2\x80\x99 PR campaigns and will be a full-time, freelance and hybrid position, working from home as well as attending meetings in the office along with on-site event coordination. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Development of press releases, pitches, and press kits
  • Assist in pitching media; build and maintain relationships with writers, editors, influencers, bloggers, podcasters and producers
  • Day-to-day PR needs of multiple clients, including overseeing media monitoring and trend reporting, and industry communications.
  • Suggesting new processes, systems and tools to enhance our services.
  • Assisting in the day-to-day client management and onboarding of new clients
  • Curate and maintain media and influencer lists
  • Organize and assist in managing events
  • Assist the team on various client initiatives
  • Meet and communicate with clients in a professional and punctual manner
  • Participate in team brainstorms for creative assets and marketing campaigns
  • Create shot lists and work with the Creative team to execute content
  • Proactively stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technology in all aspects of your responsibilities
  • Manage social media initiatives on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok, including posting, scheduling, and follower building
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships, both paid and organic
  • Provide editorial calendars for clients when required
  • Assist in ideation and execution of content
  • Write blogs and thought leadership articles when required
Expectations:
  • Respond to client inquiries in a professional, timely manner
  • Support team projects and colleagues if and when needed
  • Undertake tasks as assigned
  • Work independently as well as in-person, attending our office for meetings and on-site for client shoots/events when needed
  • Treat colleagues, clients and contractors in a professional, respectful manner
  • Stay on top of emails and communication with the team and our clients
  • Remain present on email and phone, and communicate in a timely manner during work hours
Qualifications & Desired Attributes:
  • 3+ years of experience in the PR industry in Canada
  • Relationships \xe2\x80\x93 you\xe2\x80\x99ve got solid relationships in the industry, and you\xe2\x80\x99re good at building new ones.
  • A strong understanding of the Canadian media landscape.
  • An understanding of integrated earned and social media campaign needs related to platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
  • A passion for continuing to grow your craft in PR.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Solid decision making on highly creative or integrated PR and marketing campaigns.
  • Copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills

Education:
