to join our growing team in Windsor, Ontario. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to
identify, analyze, and resolve electrical issues
across all vehicle build phases. You will play a key role in
root cause analysis, ownership assignment, and driving issues to resolution
--ensuring vehicle quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead powertrain electrical root cause activities during early development and pilot phases.
Support prototype builds by conducting thorough issue investigation and resolution.
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely closure of electrical issues.
Utilize diagnostic tools (CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, INCA, etc.) for troubleshooting and validation.
Document and communicate findings to align cross-functional teams and management.
Work independently and in team environments to drive results in a fast-paced setting.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
3-5 years of automotive systems and component experience.
Strong knowledge of powertrain and vehicle systems.
Hands-on experience with CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and electrical diagnostic tools.
Ability to write and interpret software/hardware requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with proven problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced experience with INCA, CDA, CANalyzer, Canoe, and other diagnostic tools.
Knowledge of Shainin Red X or similar reactive quality tools.
Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Additional Requirements
Familiarity with both
battery electric vehicles (BEV)
and
internal combustion engines (ICE)
.
Ability to interpret CANalyzer data effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.33-$47.47 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
