PAR Energy Services is currently looking for candidates for our Tubular Running Services division in Western Canada as well as opportunities over seas. Current positions are based out of Red Deer, Alberta with remote operations all over Alberta. Candidates will be trained in the operation of integral and conventional power tongs, Computer Torque Monitoring and nomenclature of various Oil Country Tubulars Goods (OCTG).
Experience in the industry is an asset; but not required. Priority will be given to candidates that understand the operation and drilling and service rig functions.
Contract operators are also welcome to apply and will be given the same benefits and incentives as employees.
Mechanical aptitude is an asset
Candidates will be required to follow mentoring training protocol if selected. This mentorship can be anywhere from 1 month to 6 months.
Candidates will be required to work long and irregular hours
Pay rates are primarily based on percentage of field ticket value. Day bonuses are also implemented for particular bid work
Candidates are required to pass pre-employment screening
Candidates are required to have a valid class 5 drivers license within Canada. Class 1 and 3 are an asset
Candidates are required to have valid H2S, First Aid, CSO as minimum ticket requirements.
Computer operational knowledge is an asset. PES has 2 different dispatch and safety protocol systems in place that require the ability to use windows, IOS, Android systems.
