Job Description

PGSTech is in charge of the development, support and commercialization of EMTP (www.emtp.com). EMTP is a simulation software for power system electromagnetic transients.

Main responsibilities

Perform various power system studies with EMTP and PSS/E, such as IBR modeling, stability analyses, insulation coordination, TRV, etc. Perform simulations with EMTP on power system transients for various clients. Build vendor convertor models with DLL. Prepare presentations for clients on given technical topics related to power system transients. Develop models in the EMTP GUI environment. The model development may involve some coding using scripts and DLLs Developing new features in EMTP.

Qualifications

You are a power system engineer You have strong interpersonal and client relation skills You have at least 3 years of experience in electrical network studies (transmission and distribution, power electronics) You are familiar with electromagnetic transients You have basic coding knowledges (Python, C#, JavaScript) You have strong technical and organizational skills You are fluent in English
