Power Engineer Steam & Recovery Operator
Job Description
Power Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Steam & Recovery Operator As the Steam & Recovery Operator you will operate and maintain a power plant or any low pressure steam plant by operating, repairing and carrying out preventative maintenance on the boilers, emergency power, and other related equipment of the facility in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor control of operation through DCS (distributed computer system), Effectively troubleshoot equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain accurate and thorough log entries and perform necessary testing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Optimize and control materials to efficiently treat and dispose into recovery system. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work in collaboration of other operators.
- Lubricates, oils, and assists in preventative maintenance on all machinery. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains proper housekeeping in all related steam plant areas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responds to trouble calls and carries out necessary corrective action during weekends and off shifts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assists in the maintenance of all mechanical and life safety supportive systems installed in the hospital complex including automatic controls \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in plant equipment repairs & installations; \xe2\x80\xa2 Interface with necessary contractual & inspection departments for corrective requirements.
