Shift Clean Solutions Limited (SHIFT) is a fast growing company that designs Energy Storage Solutions primarily in the commercial marine industry. Our team has been involved in the industry since 2009 and is responsible for many industry firsts, including powering hybrid and fully electric ferries, offshore supply vessels, Global Freight carriers, Tugboats, Passenger Vessels, and zero emission land-based grid energy projects. Qualifications Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering Strong background in applying variety of power conversion systems such as DC-DC and AC-DC Experience designing industrial electrical equipment or similar products Have led a small design team from concept to delivery Accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness, good work-ethic, able to meet deadlines Comply with safety regulations Strong verbal and written communication skill, able to communicate engineering requirements 10+ years experience designing and implementing high voltage/high current electrical systems Experienced in documenting designs for customer use as well as regulatory approvals
Responsibilities: Our energy-management systems are a finely balanced combination of mechanical, electrical and software components. Lead the development and analysis of the electrical aspects of our system.

• Design, improve, control, and implement electrical systems and products
• Design and build electrical infrastructure for our energy management systems
• Design and build test infrastructure to allow us to drive our energy management systems to their limits
• Document the electrical circuits and connections for use by field personnel, partners, and customers
• Evaluating systems’ safety, reliability, and performance
• Supervising junior electrical engineers
• Actively evaluating the vendors and get quotes
• Making sure that the designs meet the relevant standards
• Integrating variety of power conversion systems into our system
• Designing the interconnection between the battery energy storage system, charging stations, and different energy resources
• Simulating, modeling, and analysis of the electrical system
• Setting the relays by considering the protection protocols
