ITC Infotech is looking for a Power Bi Lead to join our Team in Canada.

Location: Vancouver, Canada \xe2\x80\x93 This role requires the candidate to be on premises for 2-3 days.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• You will understand business requirements and translate into PowerBI visualizations.
• You will design effective layouts to ensure optimal user experience and that accessibility requirements are met.
• You will understand front-end users requirements, translate into technical specifications and a problem-solving attitude and good communicator between business and technical team.
• You will be responsible for executing tests as defined in the test plan.

Must Haves:

• A bachelor\'s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in business solutioning of BI Projects and ~7 yrs. of hands-on PowerBI reports development.
• Hands on experience on Power-BI Desktop, Power Query, Power-BI Service.
• Hands on experience in data modelling capabilities including designing effective BI data models in Power BI Desktop.
• Hands on expertise in creating DAX queries, M code in Power BI desktop.
• Ability to create Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations as per business requirements.

Role:

\xc2\xbf Overall around 10 to 12 years of experience in business solutioning of BI Projects and ~7 yrs. of hands-on PowerBI reports development. \xc2\xbf Excellent analytical and organization skills \xc2\xbf Expert in collecting, analyzing & modeling customer requirements and able to shape data into reporting and analytics solutions. \xc2\xbf Ability to understand front-end users requirements, translate into technical specifications and a problem-solving attitude and good communicator between business and technical team. \xc2\xbf Designing effective layouts and designs to ensure optimal user experience and that accessibility requirements are met. \xc2\xbf Understanding of the report tools PowerBI, Tableau \xc2\xbf Knowledge of Data and Datawarehouse\\\'s \xc2\xbf Expertise in SQL \xc2\xbf Expertise in validation of reports developed by the development team. \xc2\xbf Ability to demo the reports to business stake holders. \xc2\xbf Implementation of best practices \xc2\xbf Agile/Scrum Experience \xc2\xbf Understanding of retail industry business is an added bonus.

• Understand business requirements and translate into PowerBI visualizations.
• Hands on experience on PowerBI desktop ,Power Query , PowerBI Service
• Data modelling capabilities including designing effective BI data models in PowerBI Desktop
• Developing calculated columns and measures with DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets.
• Expertise in creating DAX queries, M code in Power BI desktop.
• Developing visual reports ,KPI scorecards, and dashboards using PowerBI Desktop
• Ability to create Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations as per business requirements.
• Experience in paginated reporting
• Reports Performance tuning
• Strong in SQL
• Knowledge of data warehouses ,Snowflake could Datawarehouse.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Can operate independently.
• Agile/Scrum Experience
