Job Description

Evolution Wheel is seeking to hire someone who would like to work on our team in the powder coating department. The successful candidate will work directly with shop management and is responsible for prepping and powder coating the company's products as well as other duties around the shop and warehouse as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Cleaning and preparing metal parts for powder coating

Loading and unloading the powder coating racks

Applying powder coat in the paint booth

Baking parts in the powder coating oven

Removing and palettizing finished parts after they have been powder coated

Conducting quality inspections on powder coated parts

Operating a forklift and moving parts around the facility

Performing preventative maintenance and cleaning on powder coating equipment

Adhering to all Evolution Wheel Safety standards and policies

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

Forklift Operator Certificate

Ability to lift 50 - 70 lbs

Powder Coating experience

Ability to work alone and with a team

Highly motivated and able to achieve goals and tasks determined by management

Additional Job Information

Employees will be required to provide their own steel toe boots and wear them at all times. All other PPE for this position will be provided by Evolution Wheel.

A driver's licence is not a requirement for this position; however, employees will need to arrive at work on time.
