CR Metal Fabricators is a modern, unionized manufacturer of sheetmetal and structural metal products located in Campbell River BC. Our regular projects range from: stainless steel commercial kitchen components, heavy structural steel fabrication, aluminum truck accessories, to fully finished kiosk enclosures.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented

PowderCoater/Assembler

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience applying powdercoating (significant experience applying liquid painting would be considered), with power tools, hand tools, and possess mechanical knowledge. The position available is for our

evening shift

(approx. 16:00 to Midnight)

Responsibilities:

- Apply powder coating to metal components

- Prep or strip parts for powder coating

- Assemble parts accurately and efficiently using hand and power tools

- Install components to ensure product specifications are met

- Operate machinery and equipment in a safe manner

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow production guidelines and specifications

- Inspect finished products for quality assurance

Skills:

- Proficiency in using power tools for assembly tasks

- Ability to assemble components according to technical drawings

- Knowledge of mechanical processes and equipment

- Experience working in a warehouse setting is a plus

- Familiarity with hand tools for precision work

- Forklift operation experience is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
