Job Description

We are an established metals and plastics coatings company dealing with architectural and O.E.M. finishing. This is a long term opportunity for a painter who has some experience with spray application interested in adding other metal finishing techniques to their painting experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and powder coating to metal products to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong understanding of paint and powder coating application and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities:

Apply paint and powder coating to metal products using spray guns or other application methods Set up and operate paint and powder coating mixing and delivery equipment Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as necessary to ensure proper performance Ensure that all finished products meet customer specifications for quality and appearance Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of paint booths, spray guns, and other equipment Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times Communicate with other team members to ensure that production goals are met Assist in other areas of the production process as needed
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Experience with paint and powder coating application and finishing techniques, including the use of spray guns Ability to read and interpret production drawings and customer specifications Strong attention to detail and quality control Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
