Reporting to the Leader of the Paint Line Department and responsible for the powder painting of parts, cleaning of paint booth and for the safe and efficient operation of all tools and equipment
Duties
Prepare parts and assemblies for coating by cleaning, masking, and surface preparation using hand tools and airless paint spraying equipment.
Operate powder coating equipment including spray booths, ovens, and curing systems to apply consistent, high-quality finishes.
Conduct inspections to confirm finished quality meet specifications.
Maintain a clean work environment by following proper waste disposal procedures for overspray and unused materials.
Perform routine maintenance on spray equipment, power tools, and other machinery to ensure optimal operation.
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste throughout the coating process.
Collect scrap/repaint from Production lines and return to department
Experience
Experience in industrial painting, especially using airless spray systems or powder coating techniques.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments .
Proficiency in using all tools and equipment effectively and accurately (paint hopper system, paint gun, personal protective equipment (respirator, wrist ground wire, etc.), air vacuum and manual material handling devices)

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
