Trouw Nutrition is hiring\xe2\x80\xa6 We are looking for a Poultry Sales Representative to join our team in Ste-Anne, MB, to continue to grow the business and be a business partner with our valued customers! This position requires someone who is energetic, passionate about people, the animal nutrition industry, and can take great care of the customers we serve.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for on-farm poultry feed business partnering and consulting; this includes providing solutions and sales to our valued customers. To be successful in this role, you will consistently demonstrate prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable service and support to our valued customers.

We count on your expertise to focus on the following areas:

  • Sales Planning and execution
  • Customer acquisition and customer management
  • Value selling
  • Issue resolution
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Sales Planning and Execution: Consult with our customers on their feed needs
  • Ensure constant communication with Trouw\xe2\x80\x99s management team, internal support teams and participate in innovation and excellence projects
  • Complete transactions in internal systems. Work with logistics team on delivery schedules. Collaborate with accounting team for invoicing
  • Practical poultry experience working on a family or commercial poultry farm or experience in agriculture, customer service and sales considered a strong asset
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-secondary education in agriculture. Will consider experience and education combination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational skills. Superior customer focus and ability to follow-up skills.
  • High level of integrity, respect, and work ethic.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative. Ability to work independently and on a team.
GOOD TO KNOW:
  • A valid drivers\xe2\x80\x99 license is required for this role.
  • Ability to travel to customers and attend sales events.

\xe2\x80\x8bPOSITION SUMMARY: As a Poultry Sales Rep, you will work closely on and off farm with producers and industry colleagues to manage accounts and grow new business, achieving a balance between profitability, market share and customer service. You will be part of the team to ensure the right feed at the right place at the right time. You will be a business partner to clients, and will provide advisory services regarding optimal growth and development of their livestock. In addition, you will work directly with administration and production staff internally, to ensure the facilitation of all aspects of order desk administration, production and delivery of feed are timely and accurate.
