Tasks

Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Handling animals Monitoring animal health Organize tasks to accomplish the work Perform livestock feeding Treat livestock health issues Weeding Feed and tend animals Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Maintain livestock performance records Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry Perform general farm duties Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
