Poultry Farm Manager
Job Description
Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of poultry operations, including broiler and turkey farming.
- Supervise farm workers and provide guidance and training as necessary
- Develop and implement farm policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including inventory, expenses, and yields
- Collaborate with veterinary team to ensure flock health best practices. Experience:
- Previous experience in farm management or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including broilers/layers/ turkey breeding.
- Familiarity with poultry systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
