Poultry Breeder Barn Labourer
Job Description
Job Duties - Including, but not Limited to:
Ensure animal care practices are followed according to company & federal standards
Monitor and regulate barn conditions including temperature, ventilation, humidity levels, etc.
Collect/grade hatching eggs
Maintain accurate daily records of bird health and egg quality
Clean barns
Assist with culling birds when needed
Assist with vaccinations
Follow proper safety and biosecurity procedures
Job Requirements:
Experience with livestock preferred, but not necessary.
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in a barn environment which can be warm, humid, dusty, noisy, etc.
Must be able to work holidays and rotating weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
