Job Description
MyLearningCoach is looking for independent contractors to provide virtual
academic coaching (a blend of academic strategy instruction, tutoring and advising support)
to students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate post-secondary studies.We are specifically looking for professionals who can support with university level math, stats, accounting, engineering, and trades
Support post-secondary students with various disabilities (learning disabilities, ADHD, ASD, mental health, etc) to utilize strategies and resources that mitigate barriers to learning Teach metacognitive learning strategies, study skills, executive function/organization, research and academic writing skills Coaching is completed remotely with flexible full or part-time hours depending on the availability of the coach and student Competitive pay commensurate with qualifications and experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Education
andGraduate degree
in related field. Specialization in advanced MATH, STATISTICS, TRADES, ENGINEERING or ACCOUNTING content at a university level Experience delivering individual instruction Competent in supporting neuro-diverse learners Strong pedagogical beliefs that align with a social model of disability Teaching experience is required Canadian citizens residing in Canada.Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
