Reporting to the Director/Manager of Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:



Plan work for a team of Post-Harvest Technicians and direct team members to accomplish the work plans Preparation and oversight of harvest. Coordinate harvest schedules with Director/Manager of Operations Responsible for training Post-Harvest Technicians in all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) related to the tasks assigned by the facility Director/Manager of Operations Ensuring your assigned team adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures related to the tasks, including but not limited to processing tasks, cultivation tasks, and/or sanitation tasks Directly support post-harvest tasks as required, which may include, but are not limited to?harvesting, drying/curing, trimming, sanitation and equipment maintenance tasks Maintenance and monitoring of all post-harvest activities and facility systems Responsible to promptly report any deviations from Standard Operating Procedures to the Director/Manager of Operations and Quality Assurance Responsible to ensure safe work procedures are being followed and to report any hazards and or unsafe work conditions to immediate supervisor, or Health & Safety representative Attend and participate in facility and or Management meetings as required Responsible to report/address any mechanical concerns for the equipment used in the post-harvest processes Participation in facility audits or internal assessments as required Other duties as required

Job Requirements:



3+ years' experience working in a comparable role in a related industry Previous experience in a leadership role, such as Team Lead or Manager Previous experience in the cannabis industry, in a similar role, is required Demonstrated success in a supervisory/management role is required Strong working knowledge of GPP and record keeping requirements under the Cannabis Regulations Strong technical aptitude, able to effectively use email (MS Outlook), MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, googledocs, googlesheets, HRIS systems Experience with technology and software related to cannabis inventory management Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to write, read and comprehend technical documents, such as SOPs.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands



Lifting up to 55 lbs. from floor to waist. Lifting up to 30 lbs. from waist to shoulders, and above head. Lifting up to 20 lbs. above head. Bending, crouching, squatting, sitting, pushing, kneeling for extended periods and repeatedly throughout the workday. Climbing ladders as required. Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Working in indoor areas ranging in temperature from 17 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius. Occasional outdoor work all year round. Don and doff full-body PPE; wearing full-body PPE at all times while working. Working in close proximity to cannabis plants, as well being in direct contact with cannabis plants, which can trigger allergic reactions. Working in an environment with a strong cannabis odour. Handling/working with chemicals and cleaning supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
