Postdoctoral Scholar Big Data, GeoAI, and 3D Graphics
We are seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Graphics, Interaction and Visualization (GIV) group. The successful applicant will bring strong research expertise and technical depth in areas such as big data processing, advanced computer graphics (including 3D visualization), GPU and parallel programming, geospatial cloud-based databases, and geoinformatics, with a particular focus on GeoAI. Experience with computational techniques, sparse matrix methods, and GPU-accelerated implementations is especially valued.
Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline (earned within the past five years).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proven ability to multitask and work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
Experience mentoring undergraduate and MSc students.
Demonstrated productivity in peer-reviewed publications.
Additional Information
This position is supported through an externally funded R&D collaboration. The role requires effective communication and close collaboration with a dynamic partner team.
