Pos Field Service Technician
Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled POS Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in computer hardware, POS installation, hand tools, and computer networking.
Duties:
Install equipment so the store is running on the new WIFI POS equipment.
Instructions & procedures are available.
You must read it first, before going on site.
Remove old POS equipment.
Clean cables and remove unused wires / cables.
Attach the cables nicely.
Installation of the new POS equipment and pinpad.
Run the final configuration and test the new setup/equipment. Installation of back-office equipment (printers etc).
Take pictures and send them to H.O
Experience:
Proven experience in computer hardware maintenance.
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
Experience in POS installation.
Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment handling
Understanding of computer networking principles

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
