Position Overview
We are seeking Portfolio Instructors across various fields to join our creative team. As an instructor, you will mentor students through the portfolio preparation process, guide them in developing technical and conceptual skills, and support their university application goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Teach a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
Encourage students to express their creativity through both individual and group projects.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.
Organize art exhibitions and showcases to present student work and celebrate achievements.
Maintain a safe, organized, and well-supplied classroom environment.
Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Conduct classes primarily on-site (Don Mills Toronto); online support as needed
Requirements
Master's degree or higher, in a relevant field
Preference given to candidates with proven teaching experience
Previous experience helping students with portfolio preparation or admissions strongly preferred
Bilingual (English/Chinese)
Strong communication and mentorship skills
Flexibility related to work scheduling for both shifts and locations is essential
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to provide a portfolio of their work, and may be asked to provide a teaching demonstration, approximately 10 minutes in length. Details will be provided when interviews are scheduled.
