Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Preper/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Porter/preper will be responsible for various cleaning and trasporting tasks, ensuring that our environment is welcoming and well-maintained for both staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

Perform routine Prepping tasks including locating and pulling glass from our stock, cleaning and inspecting glass ensuring there is no damage, and priming glass for installation. Moving vehicles as needed to different locations around the city while providing exceptional customer service. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes. Lift and move heavy items as required to maintain a consistant flow and organization throughout the facility. Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks and any challenges encountered.

Requirements

A valid driver's Alberta Drivers License A clean driving record Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe driving Customer service skills Ability to follow instructions closely Time-management and multitasking skills to handle multiple vehicle requests on busy days Attention to detail to keep track of all vehicles Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and general safe practices is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to take responsibility for high-value vehicles Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the shift. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the facility.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
