Food Services Porter

Bel Acres Golf & Country Club requires Porters in our Food & Beverage

Department.

If you are a self starter, love working with people, work well under pressure and have a sense of urgency when it comes to delivering exceptional customer service, we would love to have you join the Bel Acres Golf & Country Club Guest Services Team.

Position Summary

- Help with the setup and take down of banquets.

- Work with F&B Managers with liquor inventory control. Re stocking and receiving.

- Janitorial work including vacuuming, Moping floors and cleaning washrooms.

- Server tip outs and banquet gratuities included

Requirements and Qualifications

High school level English communication skills

Must excel in customer service.

Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work well in a team environment.

Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, focus on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.

Approach responsibilities in an organized and energetic manner.

Excellent public/relationship building skills.

Willing to adapt and be flexible in all serving departments.

Be neat and professional in appearance.

High regard for Health and Safety for self and others

At times heavy lifting will be required. Up to 25 Lbs.

Long periods of standing on your feet.

Must be willing to work scheduled morning and afternoon shifts weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Genuine, professional, and fun disposition, with a positive outlook on life

Prior experience at golf course, would be an asset, but is not necessary.

Must be 18 years or older.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
