Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly while also contributing to landscape maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Open and close customer pool providing exceptional customer service Perform routine maintenance on swimming pools, spas and water features, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks. Assist Operations Manager with installation of new pools, spas and equipment as required. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working around pools and operating company equipment Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with clients regarding their pool needs.

Qualifications

Holds G license and provides a clean drivers abstract for insurability Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in pool maintenance or related fields preferred. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in maintenance tasks. Experience in landscaping is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally. Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.

Pay range is based on experience $22-$25 + commission, bonus, company vehicle, retention bonus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
