About the Opportunity
Under the general supervision of the laboratory physicians, the Polysomnographic (PSG) Technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and patient care and education. The Polysomnographic Technologist scores and analyzes collected data and prepares summarized reports for interpretation by the sleep laboratory physicians. The PGS Technologist is actively involved in the education of affiliate learners (i.e. medical students, residents, PhD students, visiting physicians, sleep fellows, home care employees and respiratory therapy students). The PSG Technologist participates in a variety of ongoing research protocols.
