Position Requirements:
- Must be a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- Experience in the civil, structural, mechanical engineering / construction, architecture (desired) and telecommunications industry (strongly desired).
- Should have very good understanding of basic computer concepts and technology. Expertise in any Quickpole, SpidaCalc, OCalc, PLS CAD is required.
- Experience with Aerial Communications line & poles inspections or design. Using CSA 22.3 No. 1-20 Overhead Systems. and O.Reg. 22/04 guidelines.
- Knowledge of Fiber backbone (F1) and distribution networks (F2), 5G/Smart City high level designs is strongly preferred.Knowledge of permitting processes (highway, railroad, city, county, etc.) are also highly desired.
