The opportunity:
The PMO Analyst assists with Project Portfolio management activities, including resource capacity and demand management, running monthly financial extracts, and preparing portfolio status reports. This position assists monthly project financial forecasting and evaluation and handles processing statements of work (SOW) and purchase orders (PO) for project-related vendors.

How you will contribute:

  • In partnership with FP&A and PMO management, conduct monthly financial processes & reporting (e.g., month-end labor forecast and actuals, etc.), and assist in compiling draft of monthly financial reporting
  • Aids investigation of PMO project budgets, forecasts, and actual trends
  • Oversee monthly accrual process for the PMO and IT; document and communicate re-classes and forecast changes as needed
  • Participate in monthly portfolio financial review meetings with senior leadership
  • Maintain controls of external vendor onboarding and purchase order (PO) control process
  • Coordinate and manage project-related statements of work (SOWs) from sign-off through PO creation; through to completion (or extension, if applicable)
  • In partnership with FP&A & Accounting, assist PMs with project-related invoices for cost control purposes (including tracking of third-party providers engaged in the project work)
  • Conduct ongoing examination of IT & PMO capacity & demand and prepare heatmap reporting to highlight areas of concern that are either under or over capacity
  • Work closely with PMO and FP&A management to prepare draft PMO Portfolio budget
  • Maintain annual expense budgeting and management process.
  • Assist the PMO Portfolio cost allocation processes
  • Demonstrate a strong comprehension of business and corporate goals, and how PMO projects contribute to the accomplishment of those goals
  • Assist Associate Director, Intake & Portfolio Mgmt with PMO intake processes (e.g., business case development and validation), ongoing monitoring and evaluation of project requests, and post-closure benefit realization study for projects in collaboration with business leaders.

What you will bring with you:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management
  • 1-3 years of experience in a finance-type role
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred
  • Understanding of budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and accounting practices.
  • Ability to operate on their own and manage priorities in a fast-pasted environment.
  • Proven application of project management concepts, including work estimation, cost management, resource capacity management, and metrics reporting
  • Ability to synthesize project and portfolio financial information into reports/ presentations for executive-level teams
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with various audiences within the organization.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:
  • Southern region: $67,000 - 101,500 annually
  • Central region: $71,300 - 107,100 annually
  • Northern region: $76,300 - 114,500 annually
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $64,600 - 96,900 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $76,300 - 1114,500 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $71,300 - 107,100 annually.
