The
PME Aerotech Attendant
reports directly to the Manager, Facilities, PME & Airport services with work duties created from the Manger, Heavy Maintenance for daily assignments supporting the Aerotech division Via the online team's channel for work requests. The PME Aerotech Attendant is responsible for cleaning the work areas on the hangar floor and shops, ensuring safety of hangar equipment, forklift work, and assisting with the movement and set up of hangar equipment.
Provide end of day hanger floor/shops clean up: garbage cans, sweeping of general areas.
Maintain hangar 5S program as well as inform and help implement improvements to the program.
Ensure that emergency exits, and fire hydrants, are not blocked during daily walkabouts.
Support parts supply with in-town, and occasional out-of-town parts pick-up and delivery.
Support MRO operations such as loading/unloading ballast, using lifts for contractors.
Do regular inspections of the support equipment for serviceability and report defects.
Track and update the maintenance logbooks of hangar equipment.
Report safety concerns to management; submit irregularities if required.
Operate forklift to move hangar equipment, tools, and aircraft parts as required.
Complete ramp FOD prevention checks.
Snow removal for ramp aircraft to support storage program and concrete block movement.
Operating floor scrubbing machine for hgr floor and shops.
Ensure equipment is serviced ie. fueled, charged, and greased.
Escort equipment service providers when on premises.
Ensure adequate space is available to dispose of waste products
Maintain organization of materials in the correct locations.
Monitor shop chemicals and compress gases advise replacements as needed.
Monitor waste rooms.
