The Journeyman Plumber Foreman supervises and directs a team of plumbers and apprentices in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems on construction and mechanical projects. Job Duties
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily activities for plumbing crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeypersons, fostering skills development and teamwork.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work sequences and ensure correct installation of systems
Inspect completed work for compliance with codes and quality standards; troubleshoot and solve technical issues onsite.
Liaise with project managers, other trades, and clients; report progress, address issues, and communicate information to relevant parties.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials while managing inventory and site resources.
Enforce safety, environmental, and company policies, conducting toolbox talks and participating in safety meetings as required.
Job Requirements
Must live in Ontario, Canada, and be available to work in the Southern Ontario
Red Seal (306A) licensed Journeyman Plumber and active Skilled Trades Ontario membership.
Valid Ontario driver's license; able to travel to sites and client locations across the region
Several years' experience in the plumbing trade, with proven experience as a lead hand or foreman in the mechanical or construction trades.
Demonstrated supervisory, planning, and organizational abilities with effective communication skills.
WHMIS, Working at Heights, Confined Space and other safety certifications as required by project specific sites.

Strong collaborative and independent work skills, with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act and industry safety/compliance standards highly preferred.
Comprehensive mechanical systems and Ontario Building Code knowledge; deep understanding of workplace safety legislation
Safety awareness: promotes and practices safe work routines, compliance, and hazard mitigation.
Communication: maintains clear, professional dialogue with trades, clients, and management. Technical aptitude: confidently applies welds, rivets, forming, and precision measuring.
Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
