Position Overview:

As an Apprentice Plumber at Thuro Inc., you will work both independently and alongside experienced plumbers on a variety of residential and commercial plumbing projects. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience and professional growth in the plumbing industry.

Key responsibilities include performing plumbing repairs and installations, troubleshooting system issues, and providing ongoing maintenance services. You will also gain valuable experience in drain cleaning and augering techniques while working in diverse environments.

$28-$36/hr to start

Responsibilities:



Install and repair plumbing systems, including water heaters, faucets, pipe systems, toilets, sinks, and other fixtures for residential and commercial clients. Perform augering and clearing of blockages in drains and sewer lines using augers and other specialized tools. Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Perform necessary maintenance and repairs to prevent system failures. Work both independently and in collaboration with other plumbers. Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, providing advice and solutions for plumbing issues. Follow safety guidelines on all job sites, ensuring compliance with local building codes and plumbing standards. Maintain and organize tools and equipment. Perform daily inspections to ensure all tools and machinery are functioning properly and are safe to use. Complete daily logs and work reports, documenting progress, materials used, and any issues encountered. Be available for weekend, overtime, or on-call work as required, and potentially travel for out-of-town projects (vehicle provided).

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 3 years of plumbing apprenticeship experience with hands-on involvement in installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. Augering and drain cleaning experience is required. Familiarity with various augering methods and plumbing maintenance techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plumbing codes, and schematics. Strong understanding of plumbing systems, fixtures, and fittings. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work in varying physical environments, including confined spaces and outdoor settings. Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
