Job Description
Jasper Mechanical is a High-rise Construction Plumbing and Heating Company. We are looking for Plumbers, Plumbing Apprentices and General Labourers for High-rise projects in Kitchener.
Plumbers,
experience in high rise construction codes and techniques will be of asset. Materials include but are not limited to MJ cast iron, High Rise PVC (XFR), PEX pipe (both crimp and cold expansion), as well as steel pipe and fittings (threaded, groove and press).Apprentices
will have the opportunity to continue their training by having access to hands on learning in high-rise apartment building construction. Apprentices will be trained in the use of cutting edge materials and installation techniques, including sanitary stack and vent arrangement, recirculated domestic hot water systems and hydronic heating and cooling. Time will be afforded for in-class learning blocks.Labourer
candidates will be required to perform with minimal supervision the following tasks:- Operate various core drill rigs and concrete hammer drills.
- Assist plumbers and apprentices in loading of materials, distribution of materials throughout the jobsite, inventory of materials, etc.
- General prep duties to assist plumbers and apprentices in various stages of installation.
Successful Labourer
candidates may have the opportunity to gain access to a Plumbing Apprenticeship.Wages are based on experience and benefits are offered after 3 months of full-time employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
