Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to assemble, weld, and install various plumbing components. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, as well as the capability to read blueprints and schematics. The Plumber will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring all plumbing installations meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Weld and fabricate components as necessary for various plumbing applications. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during installations. Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to ensure integrated system functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
