Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair, providing a foundation for a successful career in the plumbing and construction industry. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers to develop essential skills and knowledge necessary for professional growth.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with project planning Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components according to specifications Perform basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure accurate installation and repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on job sites Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members

Requirements

Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing, construction, or related trades Familiarity with carpentry, or maintenance work is a plus Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and blueprint reading is preferred but not required; training will be provided Ability to read schematics and perform basic math calculations relevant to plumbing tasks Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills on the job site Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
