We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing and pipefitting tasks. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The successful candidate will be proficient in blueprint reading and have hands-on experience with welding and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Rig piping systems safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimates.

Experience

Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter is essential. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Experience using calipers for precise measurements is preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
