We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Fabricate and weld piping components as needed for various projects.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Rig pipes and other materials for installation or repair work.
Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing with heating and cooling systems.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to plumbing work.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration with plumbing installations.
Ability to weld and fabricate piping components as required by specific projects.
Strong skills in blueprint reading for accurate installation and repairs.
Experience in maintaining various types of plumbing systems, ensuring they function correctly over time.
Capability to rig materials safely for installation processes.
Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements during installations or repairs.
