Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber/Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and pipefitting, with experience in various welding techniques and mechanical systems. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and adherence to industry standards. The Plumber/Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques for pipe fabrication and repair. Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling units. Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise installations. Perform rigging tasks as necessary for the safe movement of materials and equipment. Adhere to safety protocols while working in construction or manufacturing environments. Troubleshoot issues within plumbing systems and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter or similar role in construction or manufacturing settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Familiarity with welding techniques including MIG and TIG is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
